Weekly Member Interview Series #5 - Sharon

Hello, and welcome to the latest edition of our Weekly Member Interview Series! This week, we have decided to interview Sharon. This member has been a member of Forum Promotion since November 2013. Now on to the interview! Hi Sharon, what can you tell us about yourself? Hi Joshua, I generally try to spend my time learning about other people rather than talk to about myself. However, in this case let me take the opportunity to say that I am turning 27 on the 18th this month (I like chocolate if you'd like to send me present! Lol) and I enjoy various hobbies that alternate with the seasons it feels like. ;) My hobbies include: (but not limited to) traveling, photography, writing, reading, camping, cycling, eating, general forum dwelling, watching movies, and listening to music. Let me stop here as it's starting to sound like a dating profile haha! When you joined up at Forum Promotion, what was your goal with using us? One of my members at my writing forum advised me to check out ForumPromotion.net - I logged on, requested a package, and was blown away by the quality of service. Never looked back since. ;) What do you like about Forum Promotion? From what I understand ForumPromotion has been around for YEARS and it shows how well everything is being done. System seems to run flawlessly regardless of the change in staff I can tell the dedicated ones keep the place running smoothly. I see too often in forums when staff members' activity level is lowered the forum dies in activity as a whole. Even with staff changes activity level stays strong so in short, what I like about Forum Promotion is the activity level and members. So, which services do you like using the most? I genuinely enjoy the Review Services and Posting Packages. I love how thorough the staff members are with reviews. The quality of posts in the Posting Packages are also great. They truly set the bar high for other communities who try to mock ForumPromotion.net. Anything less than the quality that is provided here just doesn't cut it - it's not surprising to see why FP is so popular. Which service would you like to make a suggestion on how they could do better? I am truly happy with the services. The only thing I would encourage is when packagers post to end their posts with a question to entice further discussion. I've heard in the past from someone that they did not want to leave a question because they were afraid that responses would bring the discussion off topic. I believe however, if you ask the right question then the people responding SHOULD stay on topic and just add more to the discussion. Did you know Forum Promotion is actually going to be getting a new theme? What would you suggest that could be added to the theme, to help make the place better? I was reading about the possibility in one of the threads but I did not know that it's actually happening. My only suggestion to not do anything too fancy that it slows down the loading time or anything. Keep it simple I say. What can you tell us about your forums? I've got several projects in the works. Instead of taking this opportunity to promote them here I will just ask you stay tuned with my signature as I will be updating it soon when they officially open to the public. ;) As a forum owner, what can you tell us about how you managed to get the activity you have on your forums? I find that being helpful and active in other forums has helped the activity in my own communities. People generally get curious about what you are involved in after you've helped them out. I also try to go for quality over quantity when it comes to posting in communities. I like feeling like when I have something to say that people may think "oh! That's Sharon I wonder what she's about to say". Is there any comments you would like to add to this interview? I was hoping to have more enticing questions as this is what others have hinted that they wanted in future interviews. ;) I would say throw in some whacky questions like "If you were to be stranded on an island what 3 members would you prefer to be stuck with you?" or... "If you could be any animal - which one would you be?" I am honored that you chose me for this particular interview though. I enjoy reading about other members so hopefully I've been somewhat entertaining myself. My goal here at ForumPromotion is to become as helpful as others have been to me - if not more. Thanks. See you around!
And that wraps up this weeks interview! It was fun doing this interview with Sharon! Thank you for reading this, we hope you will continue reading these every week that they are posted! Feel free to comment below on the interview. Also, feel free to ask the person that got reviewed any questions you feel like!
