About FP Cash

On Forum Promotion, we have our own currency commonly referred to as “FP cash” (shortened into "FP$"). It is the one and only way you can request official services such as our packages and reviews. In each service forum, you will see a service information thread with steps on how to request the service and how much FP$ is required. Once you request the service and it has been added, a Service Director will deduct the relevant amount of FP$ from your account as payment for the service.

Some may ask, do you earn FP cash when you post around the forum? The answer is yes, you do earn for posting around our forum. The general amounts you earn are as follows:

  • Posting a New Topic will earn you 4 FP$
  • Replying to a Topic will earn you 2 FP$

Certain sections of Forum Promotion will not earn you FP Cash.

Under specific situations or hours of the day, the rate of FP$ earned from posting may be higher. This is referred to as "happy hour". It may happen for a few hours, on the weekends, or throughout the whole week. Remember to check out the News Center section or read the announcement box for information regarding "happy hour".

Other methods of earning FP$ include:

  • Participate in post exchanges or forum cash exchanges with other members.
  • Provide graphics for requests in the Graphic Marketplace.
  • Take part in Site Battles or other forum-wide activities.

In an effort to increase the value of FP Cash so that it will hold value in exchanges and other Forum Promotion Services, buying and selling FP$ for real cash is no longer allowed on Forum Promotion.

FP$ can still be traded for services such as posts and reviews. If you'd like to trade a product with concrete monetary value, such as a domain for FP$, let a Staff Member know and we'll be able to clarify whether the exchange is allowed.
