I thought I brought this up a while ago but I can't find the thread from having a cursory glance at the archive. When using the forum on mobile, the banner ads stretch the full width of the page as if it's desktop so there is a large amount of horizontal scroll which on mobile is annoying.

Can the ads be scaled down? Are they responsive at all? It doesn't make for an enjoyable experience.

Yeah, but that’s because all the ads seem to have disappeared. I’ve check as a non-logged in user is private browsing and the ads don’t appear.

I’m not complaining, but I suppose something might not be quite right?

Hi @Puppuccino,

The ads should disappear on mobile until we can come up with a better way to display ads. I have something in mind but currently working on a few other tasks around Forum Promotion.

@Malcolm
You could always use div on the code of the advertisement.
CSS:
#adlogo_wrapper img {
  max-width: 100%;
  height: auto;
}

Then, wrap your advertisement in the div code.

HTML:
<div id="adlogo_wrapper"></div>

This will automatically resize your advertisement.

I can give this a try, but with the old ad code it was really picky and caused problems. Will take a look.
