Official Contest Information
Originally written by Migi

Welcome to Forum Promotion's new Official Contest! In this special area, you will find various events and contests created by the staff team for you to enjoy. This includes regular events which have been on-going since before, such as Forum/Site of the Month, and new random events which we will introduce at random time! So keep your eyes open for anything new in this section. Prizes may range from free coupons, virtual cash, or even real life cash! How awesome is that?

This thread contains a summary of regular events/contests' guidelines and information. Please always refer to first post of each event's thread for a detailed explanation on the system. It is possible that there are differences for each event which are not covered here.

Forum/Site of the Month
  • Always read the first post of a submission/voting thread. It contains rules about submission or voting, list of eligible or non-eligible participants, and prizes.
  • You must have ten (10) posts to make a valid submission and five (5) posts to make a valid vote.
  • Each member may only nominate one (1) website and one (1) forum during submission period.
  • Each member may only vote for one (1) website and one (1) forum during voting period.
  • Forums and websites which are against Forum Promotion's Board-Wide Guidelines will be removed.
  • Winners cannot participate in the next submission/voting period. After the prizes expired, they can enter again.
  • If you have issues or suggestions, you can send a message to @Kronos or post your suggestion at Community Matters section.

Auctions
  • Always read the first post of an auction thread. It contains rules about that bidding, especially open period and bid details.
  • You must have the amount of cash you are bidding. If you do not have the amount you write, the bid will be ignored.
  • Your bid must be at least 10 FP$ higher than the previous bid.
  • We reserve the right to remove bids for any reasons we deem necessary.
  • Auctions tend to have a set time length which will be stated in the first post of each thread. They may be opened longer or shorter for special items.
  • Items offered at auctions include, but not limited to, advertising slots at forum pages and blog, user account upgrades, services bundle, and custom items.
  • Number of spots which can be won may vary from one auction to another.
  • If you want to suggest a particular auction to be added, you can send a message to @Cosmack or @Joshua Farrell, or post your suggestion at Community Matters section.

Remember that the Board-Wide Guidelines still apply in addition to these guidelines.
