But the transfer will cost like $9, so you still pay the full price for the domain, basically. 😀

Even still, this offer is still great for registering domains that you are not planning on renewing. For example, you could start a project and then it doesn't turn out as planned. Instead of wasting $10 on the domain from the failed project, someone could take advantage of an offer like this and that person would have only lost $1. Patrick is offering a legitimate service here. 🙂

But he didn't mention the $9 for transfer thing. So if its true, and if i bought a domain which i plan to renew, it would be a bad business for me, as i could have got a cheaper price in namecheap or godaddy.

You can get it for cheaper when you transfer it to namecheap. (smh)

Hmm. I'm confused. lol
Did zaborg said $9 for transfer to be paid to the new registrar or we should pay it to register.com? I thought we should pay to register.com for a transfer and said it won't make a profit for us. If its not, then i'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

Register.com doesn't seems to have a price list page i suppose? I can't find it.

Renew:

Register.com: $38.00
GoDaddy: $12.17

Transfer:

GoDaddy: $7.67

To those who are concerned about the renewal.
It is paid to the NEW register NOT register.com as I believe have attempted to explain several times.

About the canada, u.s. thing. No that does not mean your domain will get canceled. It just means that anyone outside of there can't register a domain using that deal. I can still push it to you however.😉
