Anyone watch movie's and whatnot with 123movies? It's a really cool website however I'm going to block it for good as it's a infection malware website that's not safe to visit.

https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/123movies.to/

I'm posting to let you guys know about it. Question is what other websites that do the same that are safe? Youtube is the best option 🙂

Please don't and never visit it!!!!!!!

But if you check their alternative websites(different domain extensions) they are claimed safe on the same website. I'm just going to guess that so many streaming websites are going to be detected as malicious even though they work perfectly fine and are safe. Not once have I got a virus from streaming a movie on any website tbh. Unless you get trolled by an ad which gets you to download something, then you're screwed.

I don't like it and I rather stay away from that, But from the reply of your other posts if you haven't read it already that I did not know about the other domain.

What made me to post about this, as I had an call from my broadband provider saying that they are reading allot of malware and bad thing coming though my router and I was like WTF.. DAMN!! and not happy that they are some what watching it

Do you use adblockers and disallow popups? That sucks that you got malware though. Only time I've ever gotten that was when I went on and clicked ads on one of the pages. Although, you can remove it really simply by just getting some anti-malware programme, will only take like 5-10 minutes and it should all be fixed. My internet provider has never rang me up about me having a virus/malware though. That's odd.

Indeed it was and that the call was very odd since he was Indian, and his name was jack. What website you use the most?

I range between a few, depending what the qualities are like and depending what I'm looking for. Putlocker would be the most known website to use though.

I'd probably run Malwarebytes just incase and you could always ring up your provider to confirm the call to see if it was real or not.

Domain? seems to be allot, I been on Putlocker2 but it redirects me to the steaming page and have to signup to watch

Mhm. If you're going by the tests, then I don't know what to suggest really. They're streaming movies which isn't exactly legal and are forced to use the most dodgy ads you'll probably encounter. None of them are going to be exactly safe sadly, as long as you block the ads and don't click / trust anything which slips through when trying to play the embed movie, then it's all good.

But I guess that's the price we have to pay for avoiding the costs of actually going to buy/see the movie. 😛

I watch most of the movies in bed on my tablet and sometimes on my phone and when going though the website (looking at the list of movies) it goes off to an advert page, It happens about three to four times then it goes away till the next day. Same on my PC but an another browser tab opens. On my phone I do get my Microsoft blocker stops it by showing red but not all the time.

What I'm pissed that the fact that my broadband provider phone my house number up! that's if it was them!!!

And that by googling that all my broadband provider can check IP and see what webpage we are on and see everything that we do!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolo...our-broadband-provider-not-to-spy-on-you.html

Whenever I try putlocker on a tablet it will just spaz out, so I'll only ever watch them on the PC or on my TV. That way I'll only get an ad which I can just close straight away and then the movie will work perfectly. 🙂 Yeah it's a bit odd. Although, it makes perfect sense that your internet provider can see what kind of websites you go on and such. Especially when it can be used to catch criminals etc, but then that's why there are ways not to get caught also. 😛 Though it really doesn't matter if anyone knows that you're watching streamed movies.

All internet providers are told to record everything. Even "Private Browsing"/"Incognito" is only private to the local network. It's for surveillance and such. It's much like the NSA or our local RAF Menwith Hill - they do not actively "watch" us. Instead they have filters upon filters that highlight illegal activities, keywords and actions, etc. The malicious activity coming through your router could have been so heavy that it flagged as a potential DoS attack. It's like when a server flags you for excessive data usage in a spike for example - a datacenter may warn you about this as it will flash up.

I don't promote illegal activity, but I know why people do it, I understand why people do it and it doesn't bother me in the slightest so long as - eventually if they want to keep whatever it is permanently, they pay for it. (Which is often how these sites get away with is, "try before you buy" sort of thing.

Indeed. There's been times where internet providers have had to give up thousands upon thousands of customers who actively go on certain websites and such, I believe I read a few articles on this before. I'm personally all for streaming, the cinema in my area is so behind on movies it's horrible. It also has 1 screen. How fun. 😛

I came across this site a week or two ago. Love it <3

I regularly run virus checks on sites like that I have never had a negative scan.
