Forum's actually going through a slow phase again now, but I will see if making a nice new theme for it will counter that 🙂

Well I think it was accomplished with cooperation {I have awesome staff and members} and more than anything, hard work. You just have to keep on working at it and trying different things till you hit on something that does work. I've been running forums for many years and ran this one for quite some time before it became larger. It was struggling for a while.

Well not lightning...I think the one million mark was last summer. 😛 But that's not too bad! It means a lot to me to hear you say that Cloverfield since you are quite an accomplished forum runner yourself. Thank you very much!

It will happen! If you asked me 2 years ago if I'd ever get the forum like this I would have been, no way.

And we just got a new skin too, I put it up a few hours ago!

Great forum, I cant believe the stats! 63k posts since this thread was made!

The only thing I suggest is purchase something (paid software) like Vbull and it might be more active!

Just because you have a paid forum software doesn't mean your forum will become more active.

Thanks 🙂 I worked hard on it, put 11 hours or so of work into it today {actually yesterday 😛}

I'm not going to jump to conclusions this early in the game but we did break a record today for most signups in one day. I think the new skin is helping bring more members in. I did it to give the site a fresh look since we were flagging a little in attendance lately.

As for converting to another software, right now I wouldn't dream of it, I've got too much invested into it in its present form. Converting would mean having to redo so much.
