It seems to me like everyone has good thoughts about the netgear or the linksys. If/when I do this I will stick to them probably.

I'll decide later this week, any more input?

BONUS 500 FP REWARD INFO:
I will award 500 FP to the user who gives the most useful reasoning on which router I will get. Simple. Note the reasoning shouldn't be based on color, or looks.

I would have to say the one that I have bolded. I understand where you are coming from when you say that you want a router that can be used for the Xbox 360.

I have been using Netgear for a while now and it has been an amazing and great experience. I had an Xbox 360 as well and it was fast and worked very well for what I needed it for.

I never lost connection, never had any lag, I was always the host and kept other people at a 5 bar connection. I would have to say that this is the best router.

The final decision is yours but take my word for it that you will like it.

Okay, sorry for late responce. I went with the D-Link, and it worked alright (it did the job) except we are returning it because the hosting computer won't get internet for whatever reason.

Going with linksys now, but carsonk gets my points. 🙂

Netgear N300 because netgear are a reliable company and if you need a wireless adapter, you could get a netgear adapter which will have a one click connect feature if you have a netgear router 🙂
