I ordered a case of Bai off Amazon and it came in today…. It expired on March 15th, 2021. It says that on every bottle, but it even says the expiration date in very large print on the side of the case, as it was still in its plastic wrap and everything.

Anyway, have you guys accidentally bought expired food? Did you eat it anyway?

I don't eat anything that's not OK. It doesn't have to be expired even, if I don't like it or it's not good, I'll throw away. If you purchased from Amazon, you can get a refund and order again.

I've never gone by sell by or expiry dates, especially now when most food is processed in some form or another. If it's edible I'll eat it, if not I'll bin it. That said most of what I eat is sourced locally, straight from the farm so it doesn't have an expiry date anyway.

I probably would hesitate to eat something canned or bottled and bought from Amazon that was 6 months out of date though. Not so much because it's out of date, more because it might be fake or produced under licence for a market with less stringent rules.

My ex wife and I shopped at a salvage grocery store a few times. We never did that again after we bought a lot of hamburger helper and it had bugs in the package. Not ever again. It really is better to pay for it brand new at Wal-Mart or where ever.

Happens a lot on amazon, I bought some faygo and it came 1 year expired.

Its happened to me a few times. Now I always try to check the dates. If its something from amazon, then thats their fault.
