Webmaster Administrata - Empowering Community Leaders

A dedicated platform for community leaders looking to build, manage, and grow successful online communities.
Not sure if it has been made aware, but the activation email did not come through for me and wasn't sure if this was happening to others.
It happens sometimes, depends on the email. I’ll confirm your account now. 🙂

Administrata is a community built for forum owners, admins, and anyone who’s into running online communities. Whether you’re managing a brand new forum or you’ve been at it for years, this is the place to talk shop, share ideas, get help, and connect with others who understand the ups and downs of running a community.

You’ll find discussions on everything from growing your member base and picking the right add-ons, to monetization, design tips, and real talk about what’s working (or not) on your forum. We also love highlighting cool communities, hosting fun discussions, and swapping stories from the admin trenches.

Jump in, introduce yourself, and make yourself at home. We’re excited to see what you’re working on—and how we can grow together.

New course just went live! 🙌

We’ve just released the Moderator Training Course on Administrata, and it’s a big one. 😁

This course is all about helping your moderators feel confident, consistent, and ready to handle whatever comes up - from subtle trolling to full-on chaos (and everything in between).

It walks you through the real work of moderation:

  • Knowing when to step in, and when to hold back
  • Using tools in XenForo and Invision without overdoing it
  • Handling tricky situations with clarity and respect
  • Working as a team behind the scenes, without stepping on each other’s toes
You’ll also get practical examples, optional drills you can run with new mods, and a full moderator guidelines template you can copy and customize for your own staff area.

If you’re building out your team or just want to make sure everyone’s on the same page - this course will save you a ton of time.

👉 What kind of training or resources do you wish you had when starting out?
👉 Got a specific challenge you’d like a course built around?

Drop your thoughts below - we’re always building based on your feedback. 👇

Hi, just checking in on this month’s Site of the Month contest. I submitted an entry, but it looks like the entries may have been removed and the focus has shifted to April instead.

I might be mistaken, but if that is the case, it doesn’t seem entirely fair to those who already entered. Could you please clarify what’s going on?

Thanks!

Probably best to ignore that for now. I've been too busy to really look into it. Can't do everything all at once, so SOTM is really a low priority currently.

They were awarded automatically, but I'd need to check the logs what they were. I'll keep you up to date for this tomorrow if that's okay. 🙂
