You may need to sign in with Google and then finish your identity verification to get started. It's a very good platform with high quality video generation. I like to make small clips and combine them for YouTube, or sometimes even upload as 8 second shorts.
It supports audio & video, but some of the lower models have no sound, and the video extender tool options in the past have not had audio either. Really worth trying out though, especially if you are eligible for the free credits. Students also should be able to get more as well.
