A tip with backlinking you want to start a article on a top rated anime and try build a pyramid link within your forums tracking the keywords you used around your forums and off your forums

Google ad campaigns are really good for this. But make sure you have articles around your forums tracking the keywords with meta tags admin area and in topic.

Great feedback! I hadn't even thought of this. I've been too focused on building up my database for the actual anime.

Yes, that is what I'd like to do eventually. I want to build the site up first. I've tried this in the past and the biggest problem is they usually make exclusive contracts with companies like Crunchy or Netflix etc. That kind of behavior only encourages bad actor sites to exist.

Look for comic books anime creators too they might link you to someone. Not all aim to be that big if you build the right SEO campaign remember don’t really look for cheap SEO anime Look high ranking PR domain authority website and ask them if you can post articles about a top anime then trying to link them back to your site.
