Firstly I didn't know where this thread would fit into, If there is a more preferred forum please move it.

Description: Announcement is A plugin that lets you have Announcement on your forum, The plugin has A lot of built in features to help you maintain A perfect Announcement that suites your community.

Compatible With: Mybb 1.6 (might work but tested with Mybb 1.4 and 1.8)
Announcement Go is currently only compatible with mybb forums but other forum systems may be supported soon.

Current Version: V1.3


What's New In Announcement GO 1.3?

Now you can add your announcement globally, Just on the index or in the Mod CP.

Control who can see your Announcement Guests,Members or Admin and Mod Only.

Customize your announcement to the way you want it to look, You can select the 6 Pre-Installed themes or create your own.


Yes We Have A List Of Confirmed Features For V1.4: (will be updated upon new confirmed features)

Ability for moderators to change or modify the Announcement in the Mod CP, Option can be enabled or disabled in the Admin CP.

Nice one 🙂 I remember making one of these for ProBoards V5, was my first plugin for PB V5 from memory? How long did it take you to make this?

I started on my Android Tab in March that took A few weeks. Now that i'm working from A real PC (windows machine) I decided to upgrade the plugin for A better user experience and forum administrators.

The upgrade took around A week working from A PC.

If you have any suggestions let me know I might add them in V1.4 when development starts in A few weeks 🙂

vbulletin has this built-into the forum software and allows you to make an announcement for each forum. However, I don't believe there's a way to do it on the main index.

Alright after some time away from the forum world due to issues and other projects such as my channel I am now back!

I am looking at adding more features to the plugin and maybe a few bug fixes.
