It kinda grinds my gears that only people with a Mac can develop apps. It is bad enough there is a $99 fee (unlike other companies). They need to open up more.Steve Jobs needs a more open personality. I wonder if he only hangs out with people that use Macs 😛

Well I mean there are a lot of amazing programmers who only use Windows! Like it would open up a whole new field. Maybe a lot better apps! Well probably something better than the "Age me" and "Funny Faces" apps 😛

Eh, a $99 fee is nothing to release on a platform. The only thing that doesn't limit you really is Windows and open source systems like Android or linux. Licensing for a Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo product costs more than it does to make an iOS game in most cases.

That's true. I have a mac but don't have the knowledge or money to bother to make an iOS application, otherwise I'd make one for my site. 🙂

Developing the app is absolutely free. You only pay the fee to release the app.

Yeah, and it kinda stinks the only way apps can be distributed is through iTunes. Blackberry isn't like that :\


They just have too many rules. I see books all over stores about how to make iOs apps, but I can't. 😛
