I hear a lot of people talk about backlink building by using article marketing on EzineArticles, Squidoo, Hub pages which have high page rank and an active website with a lot of traffic.
Would using Blogspot, Weebly, and free host which are not as social good for backlink building? I notice most of these websites give members a sub domain like sub-name.weebly.com rather then a path domain like squidoo.com/name-of-path . Some people say sub domains don't have as much or no pagerank from the domainname like path domains.
Am I better off just replying on forums, blogs, and doing link exchanges then writing an article with a few backlinks in it on Weebly.com, Wordpress.com, xanga.com, blogspot.com and other sub-domain free hosts in hopes of raising my pagerank and search engine results for my website I am promoting on free hosts.
