I remember a while back ago, there were a few paid to post forums but I can't seem to find any now. Do they still exist?

I've honestly never run across a single one, so I'm really of no help xD
I've heard of posting contests with the top prize being a paypal reward, though that's the extent of it.

I seen some but not many. Most owners now can't afford that option! It's down to postloops

@Lord Saru Post2host is not paid-for-posting forums. 😛 But it's true that I rarely see something like this nowadays. I used to join one, but now I've forgotten the name. I also doubt it's still around. Some hostings do provide free plans, though.

As for paid-for-posting forums, I know there are some names out there, such as Postloop and PFP. I think newer companies find it harder to survive compared to these old ones who have established good names across the internet. It seems to require a lot of start-up fee and that may be tough for most people.

Do you mean forums where you have to pay to make an account or post?
I mean forums which offer members money when members post on the forum.
Ah, to be honest, I've never actually seen any of those, even in the days before social media kinda took people away from foruming. 🙂 I did know about postloop though. Never used it myself.

There were a few where you had to pay to be able to post in an effort to weed out trolls, and even now the only one I can think of that still does that is somethingawful.

I'd also be interested in this if they pay via paypal and have topics I'm interested in and can post extensively about (Gaming, technology, etc)

Few forums used to pay users for the posting on the forum but currently, most of them have closed down, and the payment is meagre.

Forumcoin is one forum that pays for your posts. The rate is 1.5 cents per post and your earnings can be withdrawn via PayPal. What's good in this forum is its laxity with the posts. Unlike the usual forums that are strict with the rules, Forumcoin has no length limit of posts and not much for grammar.

Point systems are popular with some forums. For instance, this forum has FP$. Anyway, you can exchange the points for some service and/or money. Nonetheless, it's obviously not as reliable sometimes as Postloop or something similar.

I started posting on forums by joining paid to post forum. For a couple of years I waa active on a few but I don’t see them anymore

Yeah there's not too many paid to post forums that are still online. Discussion Bucks is one of the few that I can think of off the top of my head. You can also earn money by not only posting on Top of the Leaderboard, but also playing games to earn credits to cash out. That's another forum that I can think of at the moment.

Someone enlighten me: How do paid-to-post forums actually work in terms of someone having the funds to pay multitudes of people? Is the owner wealthy, or do they have many monetization techniques?
