Are you making Valentine's Day plans yet?

It's probably something that should be on my radar, but I've not thought about Valentine's Day at all.

I honestly haven't thought about it yet. I know the restaurants will be super busy that day, especially since it falls on a Saturday. I'll have to think of doing something special for my wife, thankfully I do have some time to think about it lol.

If we consider the same thing I usually do every year as making plans, then yes lol. Probably going to be working, probably going to take advantage of the discounted chocolate the day after, but no real plans with anyone special.

My hubby and I will probably go out to eat somewhere for Valentine's Day but we won't know where we'll eat until that day.

I work on Valentine’s Day and so does my husband so he will probably just grill some steaks and we will get each other some gifts. Last year for my kids I gave them valentines baskets, when I get paid I need to look into doing that again this year. I wanted to try to do it every year.

Me and my partner are going away for a couple nights next weekend.

I mean, we don’t really do anything special for Valentine’s Day. To be fair, we’re kind of hoping taxes come back around them for us. Mama needs a new computer and Papa needs to fix the car. Plus, it would be nice to not have to live paycheck to paycheck for a little while. Depending on funding and whether or not we have a sitter we might go out to dinner.

As a person who is married and lives with his spouse, I find Valentine's Day useless.

Does your wife feel that way too?

Me and my partner went on the gondola today. Luckily it wasn't windy as I hate going on those things with even the slightest bit of wind.

Update: we ended up going to Outback tonight to celebrate since my husband got off of work early unexpectedly.

A lot of stuff. Steaks, shrimp, etc. it’s like an Australian themed restaurant. I got an 8oz sirloin and my husband got a ribeye.
I had a steak breakfast meal this morning for breakfast at Denny's 😛 i love their hash browns!
