I understand that the primary thing I need for a new site is content. I understand that. I'm using blogger and have only 3 enteries. But aside from content, what do you recommend (that I do) to promote my new blog? It's a blog about mental health.
Advertise on lots of sites, and specifically sites that have the same subject and show you have more to offer. But at the same time try and keep a good reputation at the same time.
Advertise on Forums, signature links on forums and blogs, social bookmarking, posting about my forum on tons of free blogging sites, and websites, telling people I know online about my forum, and making videos on youtube about my forum.
For The Moral Liberal, most of the traffic has been generated by searches for two years. It is still pulling good in search engines for most of the articles. Though the most recent thing that we have been doing to generate traffic other than searches, was being accepted into Google News as a source of news, and commentary. Since then, traffic is coming in through more places, like the google news, searches, and other sites that have been noticing us.
