My wife and I went out on a little date at McDonald's and the went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales at the theater. Later on at home I ate cake and ice-cream, and then I opened cards and presents too.

My favorite thing about FP would be the friendly people. After all of these years, I still feel a great atmosphere where the members of this forum are concerned. 🙂

@TDK I have so many favorite TV shows from different decades. Smallville would be one of my favorite TV shows.

@TDK I've been a big fan of Superman my entire life, so that was a very big factor in me liking the show so much. It wasn't only that, but I was a big fan of the show after the two hour premiere. It was that good.

@TDK I haven't got around to seeing the Supergirl TV show yet since I've been busy. I would like to see it though to see what I might think of it. I've seen a few of the trailers and saw some photos of it though. My thoughts of them casting Superman this season is that I'm not sure what to think. I noticed that the outfit changed some, which I didn't care for. Also, I think they could have got someone else to play him. This guy doesn't strike me as the Clark Kent/Superman type. I'm sure he's a great actor though. I'll have to start watching the TV show when I have the time, catch up to when he debuts, and then see for myself how he does.

@Ridley I thought he looked the part, as least in his facial features, but I've always pictured Clark as being someone much taller than this dude was...he was barely taller than Supergirl herself, so that always seemed a bit off to me :xd:

@TDK I totally agree. The lack of height for Superman in the show was very evident. Superman has always been tall. The casting crew failed to capitalize on this when casting the actor for the role.

Yeah. I was aware about Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher being in the Supergirl TV show. From what I've heard so far, they are bringing in several alumni actors from the Superman universe. I think that's real cool.
