digitalpoint is OK for selling domains but selling sites on their marketplace is much easier.
Other options (which I haven't really tried are):
- The register itself. I've sold a domain parked on NameCheap before. Selling on the register makes the process pretty easy.
- Sedo.com.
- NamePros.com and other domaining forums.
You can also give a try to Flippa where you can auction your domains for a suitable price. The site is well know for auctions of domains at good prices.
I have not tried digital point but i have sold domains in godaddy auction but they were high pr domains names with generic and brand able domain names have more luck with sedo.
There are various places where you could sell your domain names. However, there are some important things to keep in mind while doing so:
Apt pricing
Display tag - 'For Sale'
Reply promptly
Keeping this in mind, you could try and sell on Flippa. Hope this helps.
Depends entirely on the value of the domain name. If you expect anything above $1,000 go with Flippa, SEDO and the professional domain marketplaces. Anything below $1k is not really worth the fees and you could find trusted buyers on DigitalPoint and perhaps relevant forums. (I actually bought lots of domains on forums)
