As we all know, YouTube is the biggest video sharing website in the world. But here are many sites you are supposed to upload and watch videos online too. Now YouTube is going downhill with its 10 minutes limit, so choosing a good YouTube alternative will be a good option which also supports you to share, upload and watch high quality videos. Let’s check them out.

1.Vimeo
First, when you enter the Viemo.com, the design of the whole website is very clean and beautiful. Sign up first when you enter the interface of website. Many good videos handpicked by the staffs of websites if you scroll the page down.

For free account, users are facilitated to upload 500 Mb video contents only every week. So putting the sign-up page as the interface is a good way to attractive subscribers. For subscribers, you are able to upload the limit up to 5 Gb weekly if you pay 9.95 USD per month, and 199 USD per month for the PRO plan with 20 Gb per week.

However, Vimeo need to collect details of your information which YouTube will not, that’s a good way to protect users’ individual information. Check more in their Privacy Policy.

Vimeo isn't bad at all. They will never be as giant as YouTube has become, but they are a pretty good competitor.

I've used YouTube for years and have an account. Might give one of the other ones a try. I guess I like YouTube because of it's nice and neat layout and just overall easy to use. We all gotta break out of our comfort zones sometimes I guess

Vimeo and Dailymotion are good. I think it's a good channel for doing SEO. I usually see them on the top of GG 🙂

Some of my friends are looking for alternative to Youtube in terms of earnings. That is because of the recent policy of Youtube in stopping the sharing of revenue with small video makers. I think you need to have 1,000 subscribers in order to avail of the monetization program of your videos. And there's also a minimum number of viewing hours per month. Small time video makers are now searching for another site where their videos can earn.
