Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled for release in November 2010 and sources indicate that it will be set between World War II and the present day. It has also been speculated that some of the missions will take place in Cuba and South America, which could mean a Cold War and Vietnam based game.

For PC gamers, the game will contain dedicated servers, unlike Modern Warfare 2. The lack of dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2 was one of the main complaints from PC gamers.

Players will also be able to play as a member of the Special Air Service (SAS) in the hostage taking in the Iranian embassy during the 1980s. It is also rumoured that the game will contain a “Zombie Mode”, seen in Call of Duty: World at War with “Nazi Zombies”.

I am a big Call of Duty fan but after the crap called Modern Warfare 2 I don’t think the new game is going to be good as the old Call of Duty games.

I'm just wondering if Treyarch is going to ruin this. World At War was an ok game, but it seems that Activision is much better at making shooters. Hopefully Treyarch will listen to the community a little bit.
