I have read on many forums that we can get good amount of traffic via blog commenting. So, I have tried this method and really I have got much traffic from blog commenting. Its really works for me. I don't know if its worked for you all. I will like to know if you guys have tried this method to get traffic and rank. Share your experience and opinion about blog commenting.

It can help your pagerank if it has dofollow links and a decent rank itself. However, they tend to look really scummy so you usually won't get many people clicking through them, not to mention the blog owner may just delete your comment as well.

you can if you paid to promote the blog, but the comments, nope. It be hard not easy and no need really?

It only work if your comment is valuable, the post that you comment at has a lot of traffic. But, on the internet, there is not many sites like that

Blog comments worked good earlier and I have used this service too. But today people are less bothered to click on blog comments.

They bring a small amount of refferal traffic to my site. They also help provide a mix of nofollow and dofollow backlinks for my site which is important for SEO. Having 0 nofollow links looks super sketchy to google and you'll actually have lower ranking as it appears you paid for links :/

It's moreso for SEO which will bring in the most traffic overall (At least for me) than actual traffic. However, if you make a decent enough post and advertise in a way that isn't blatant it can bring in a decent amount of traffic.

One of my websites get's around 300k out of the 500k monthly views from SEO, and hardly any from the blog posts itself (Not talking about GameHandout's website)

It could help, but as others have said it is important that if possible you connect your link and the page/content it leads to to the material written in the post. Otherwise it looks spammy and people probably won't click it (and the blog owner may even delete it.) You also need to actually write a well written response comment to the article you are commenting on and not just paste your link.

Not at all. Most blog owners have the "Rel="Nofollow" tag implemented, however, blog commenting is a good way to get some extra exposure.

Yes it could help very much as I mention in other posts. Always attempt to try to spark interest when you start a conversation this also applies to commenting on blogs since most blogs allow link sharing. When you are going to contribute to a discussion always try to be informed on what is being discussed and make sure to spark as much interest as possible and as much detail as possible in your comments to draw as much attention as possible. Don't make short chit-chat because that will draw less attention to your own comments the long and more informed it is the higher chance you have and receiving traffic from blog comments you make on other blogs.

Yes you can but it's wording and topics that makes up the search.
