Do you think you could earn a living from referrals? Some people have but it would be extremely hard. You'd have to have 1000's of referrals using sites where you get x% of what they earn. It wouldn't be easy but I think it would be possibly. What do you think?

Do you mean like reffering people to buy web hosting from HostGator, and other online companies which sell products like Amazon by working as an affiliate partner/marketeer?

The webmaster at http://2createawebsite.com/ is earning a lot of money from just reffering people to buy Website themes, web hosting, and eBooks.

I think Multi-Level-Marketing is based on refferals like you refer people to join your team, and you earn a percentage of their earnings, and their refferals earning.

I think it is possible to make a living from refferals if you work hard, and know how to convince people to be a refferal. It might take months or years to make enough to live off of with your refferal earnings.

@Froggy Well that's one method but some people can earn 100$ a week from pay per click's because of the volume and activity of their referrals.
@Patrick 10k a month, a year?
@Nitro Yeah I can imagine but once you've got a few 1000 referrals you can sit back and relax.

Let's say it was 3 months, that still only means 40k a year which is not ideal.

I'd happily earn 40,000 a year. Anyway once you get all those referrals and you can stop worrying about getting new referrals you could always get money another way.

Well, I've maybe made $25 in my life off of referrals. So I'm going to say it isn't worth quiting your day job for. However, one day someone could earn a lot of bonus money via referrals.

I'm all about multiple sources of income. I wouldn't rely on referrals as a sole source of income, but it is certainly supplementary.

for me the best way is through my services. I earn a very good living off web design jobs, so I don't bother with affiliate marketing or stuff like this.

Yes. The person that owns a photography site I frequent earns enough to make a living from referral links.

The owner of http://digital-photography-school.com/ who is Darren Rowes who is also the owner of http://www.problogger.net/ make a lot of money from just posting photography and blogging tips, selling ebooks, affiliate marketing, and Adsense.

According to blogs online Darren is a millionaire who earned most of his money through blogging online : http://www.publishyourarticles.org/know ... rowse.html

http://www.copyblogger.com/ also does pretty well online from selling custom themes and landing pages for WordPress, web hosting, SEO writing tools, etc.

Yes- Have you heard of CPAOffers.com??? 🙂

It's certainly possible but i think you've to be doing only this under the sun for some years and nothing else.

I am not a risk person. I'd say no. Just do referrals as part time. Don't quit your day job.

It is a type of Marketing, you do not stick with only one service, that is the problem. Every job is hard and need your hard-working, nothing is easy.
