According to one magazine article I had read, the French seer Nostradamus had written a quatrain which refers to China as the anti-Christ who will rise in the East. A few decades ago, China was a sleeping giant and now it is starting to flex its muscles in the South China Sea by claiming islands which are not theirs and building military bases on the said islands. The UN ruling that the Chinese-occupied islands in the Spratlys is not theirs is being ignored by China. Worse, it seems that good old America is keeping its distance in the issue. So what do you think of China as the anti-Christ?

What's happening in China has nothing has nothing to do with Christianity and preaching and teaching the gospel. It's just a political move on the world stage; a good old-fashioned act of aggression. It's a power play and they hope they get what they're after.

The anti-christ is not a nation. The reason people are able to stir up others and mislead them about this subject is because people just don't read the New Testament.

The anti-christ or anti-christs are people who believe a false teaching. They were true believers but then they fell away from The Way.

The epistles written by John the Apostle speak plainly about the anti-christ. Just read them. The “spirit of the anti-christ” was already in the world when he wrote these letters to the faithful Christians during the 1st century.

The French seer Nostradamus can say whatever he wanted to say. This is not a topic a true believer would even debate with anybody. The scriptures are already written. The words are not written in the form of a riddle. They're very plain. Believe the words or don't believe them. But you can't use those words to paint a picture of China.
