Same could be said for the 'Basic Promotion' forum or any of the services or pretty much everything on this forum though. While they may be beneficial for the people advertising and using the services, its useless for everyone else not involved with or interested in those forums.
Unnecessary. That forum doesnt need any topic attributes.
and moving old battles to the relevant subforum was a pretty dull task for Team members and took precious time that could have been used for other (and more constructive) purposes.
If members make their own polls, can you see that going well? Members will make stupid battles and there will be battles everywhere and pointless battles set up against other forums who haven't submitted theirs or someone would set up a battle of there 2 forums just to get a bit of free promotion. That would be one problem solved and 2 problems gained. The attributes is a matter of your opinion. It helps the forum look more organised and users can see the status of a topic before reading it. It is beneficial not only to us but also the members therefore it is needed. All the tasks would soon add up for this section having to read it all the time and set up polls to prevent abuse and so on so each task on their own might not take long but combined, running the whole section does.
We don't remove things for no reason. If it was well used and wasn't that time consuming to run, why would we remove it? There is no reason to remove it but the fact remains that it wasn't well used and was time consuming to run so however you try to make it look theezy, We had reasons to remove it and reasons to run it how it was.
This topic should just be dropped. The forum battles are gone forever, no matter what you say will bring it back. This is probably for the best, it was too time consuming for FP staff to put together and moderate battles and allowing users to take their job will just end in everlasting failure.
Sad to see it go 🙁 i actually learnt alot by the forum, people gave me tips on how to improve my forum and well.. when i lost a battle i would be even more determined to make my forum better. I think this could be a mistake but thanks to everyone i battled with!
