We can't always control the negative things so it's best to focus on the positives.

For me a great sleep helps the day or even sometimes an afternoon nap to refresh.

I went shopping today and had McDonalds so I had a good day.

Today I'm grateful that my husband and I went to a local attraction to spend the day and even though I told him we wouldn't walk a lot, we ended up doing 14,000 steps and that was okay. I'm also grateful that the restaurant we went to for our meal turned out to be really good!

1. My nap today.

2. Gaming this morning.

3. No more foot skin issues whatsoever today!

Today I'm grateful that my daughter has a job interview and that she and her bulldog are coming to visit after that. Then I'm also grateful that my pasta e fagioli soup turned out amazing and we have dinner for tonight and that means I don't have to cook when they're here!! We have pumpkin rolls for dessert so we'll all get fat but we'll be hiking so it's all good.

1. Having a full night’s sleep.

2. Being healthy again.

What I'm grateful for today is that I'm still alive after a horrible illness that took me out for nearly two weeks. I'm not sure if Malaria and Typhoid fever is very common where most of you are living, it's a constant sickness to deal with here. I'm still alive and recovering well.

People are too negative. Life is too short to be that way. Nonetheless, I can understand why some are grouchy.
