Do people link to forum topics as much as websites & blogs?

Yes, if the forum topic, and replies solve a problem like "how much should I pay to paint a house?".

I notice the official Google, YouTube, and some computer tech forums' topics are link to a lot on other forums, blogs, and websites.

But, for the most part, it seems blogs, websites, and forum post seem to link mostly to other blog, website, and occasionally Twitter posts from famous celebrities like Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Charlie Sheen rarher then forum posts.
