They bible was been written by christians, re-written, translated etc. And yet people still believe it is the word of god. How funny.
In the words of Billy Connolly

So when Jesus said: John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? or John 10:30 I and my Father are one. It means that Jesus isn't God??? Just curious.dentist said:He is an immortal being, but not god, considering God is his father. So Jesus Christ isn't God.
Hello there, it is talking about how children looks like their parents, thus by seeing him, you know what the father looks like. 🙂The Parson said:So when Jesus said: John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? or John 10:30 I and my Father are one. No my friend, it sure isn't. The bible is very specific in it's language and its translation. There are too many verses where the Lord spoke plainly about being part of the Holy Godhead or as some call it "the Trinity". God the Father, God the Son (the Word - Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Ghost. For instance:dentist said:Hello there, it is talking about how children looks like their parents, thus by seeing him, you know what the father looks like. Really? No, don't think so. You seem to think the Bible is metaphoric in some way. That's a shame. Can I ask you some questions which may seem a bit off topic?dentist said:Which obviously you don't know quite well. When it states that these 3 are 1, it means that they are like minded, which can translate into them being 1 in opinion.
If it is offtopic, then you shouldn't post it. 😛The Parson said:Really? No, don't think so. You seem to think the Bible is metaphoric in some way. That's a shame.
