By video-sharing sites, I mean sites such as Youtube or Dailymotion. Do you believe they can help give you a substantial increase in your customer base? I tend to think so. I created an account on Youtube recently and linked it to my blog. It was very fantastic to interact with my customers while giving them extra material to whet their appetites and keep them satisfied. What are your experiences?
Yes! The more sites your video is on, whether it's uploaded to that site or even just embedded on it, the better! Although, not just "any site" but the higher authority that site is the better. Sites like YouTube etc like Vimeo, MetaCafe etc etc are good sites to have your video on. Those sites are ranked high by Google so your video will likely rank high too if it's been SEO optimized. Plus you get to have a description and a link. Here's the thing though, it's best to use a unique description for each site as if you're using the exact same description for each, they wont rank as high. Plus it just looks so much better if you do that! 🙂
