Had my iPhone 7 in a cheap silicone Jet Black case (I have the Jet Black color) and recently changed it out to a caseology Jet Black see-through case since I felt like the silicone was rubbing (which it was, and scratched the hell out of various spots due to dirt). This case feels nice, premium looking, and nicely hides all of the scratches that my phone has now.
I used to have my Sony XZ in a protective case, then switched to a less protective case that has a very soft and smooth texture, which makes it feel a lot nicer and more enjoyable to use.
Sometimes... I don't really need one as I'm careful with my phones but I like having one on my S8+ because it makes it easier to hold and makes it easier to not get random accidental touches on the curved screen. Plus gives it protection.
Yes. Some screens are very expensive to replace. I would rather keep my phone in a bulky case than have it smashed face down on the floor. The sound of a phone smashing on the floor is enough to send the strongest WWE champion into a hospital 🙂
I have my phone in a case because it's a bigger Samsung. But my old one, a Samsung SIII is pretty small that fits the hand so it doesn't need a case. Yesterday I bought my husband a new Samsung Galaxy tablet. Today we went to the mall to buy a case. It is so big that it's difficult to use without a case. It is susceptible to accidental fall.
Using phone with a phone case makes the phone uglier my opinion. Already the phone producer have given it sleek design that they feel is the best for the phone so if I should buy the phone because I like the look and design enough, I would not want to cover it up. Of course the geberal reason for using casing is to prevent dirts and maybe protect it but I can be careful with the phone.
I have my S8 in a case. A reason why I have a case is because it offers me effective protection. Another reason is it can offer economical protection. It saves a lot of money. I also like collecting cases, it can be fun.
