I usally read all the post on my forum. I like to respond fast or what not.
But some of my really active members asked for a private room.
They're posting stuff in there like crazy and I'm a bit out of it to read it.
So I just want to know if you guys try and read everything or its ok to just not do that?
Since right now on my forum, there is only a small community I read every new post while I'm online. However if and when we become bigger and there 100 or so new post while I come on, I would probably only look at the specific ones I am contributed or hit the Mark all as read button.
Never. We get 1,000 - 1,500 posts a day here. Generally liked to keep an eye on the feedback section staff rooms and off-topic, but other than that wasn't really bothered about the rest.
I try but my time is limited to only the select forums I keep a close eye on. If not a lot is happening, I invade the games section and become a party pooper.
I try to read all the posts on my forum. We're only getting a few posts a day at the moment, so for now it's pretty easy for me to respond to everything. A few months down the road, I don't think it will be so easy. I don't have my own computer at the moment, so it'll probably be hard for me to keep up with everything. I like all the sections I created, so I do try to read and respond to all of them. Forum life hasn't gotten too demanding yet!
God no! That's what I have moderators for. I get around 130 posts a day, and with school and all I don't have the chance. I'll generally read the chat and debating forums, support, Arrivals' Hall and the staff forums every day... as for the rest, I look through it at the weekend.
I have section moderators to make sure the rest is clean of spam.
