Why did you say Obama has done a better job than Bush, if you don't think presidents have any power?

because, Bush was the main reason gas prices shot up. Bush was the main reason that the US is in teh debt it is now; not that Obama is doing anything to help. The Presidents are becoming more and more steered towards the not-so-much power in presidency than helping the country, as sad as it is.

We have been in debt every since we won our in Independence.I hate bush as much as the next guy,but getting us in debt is not something he himself did.

Under Clinton there was a federal surplus so yeah, it kind of was Bush's fault.

Where did this surplus of money come from? Yep, you guessed it, taxpayer money. So yes, Bush did create more debt, but he also lowered a ton of taxes.

Taxpayer money, yes. But only on the wealthiest citizens, combined with lower federal spending. I'm not going to lay all the blame on Bush though, because Congress never really checked him on his spending.
