Do you strive to have unique threads on your forum? I've gone to some forums where it's the same questions...sometimes asked by different people. It gets a little dull really.

You tell me 😛

unique about threads that they have replies from Me ;P

A forum could display a warning for example reading the thread and searching for similar topics and disable such feature on support forums or introductions or celebrations. If user confirms that topic is unique then merge to similar thread from moderation panel.

Content is key for forums and blogs growth. If you want success in your community, you should pay a lot of attention to the kind of contents that are being created. If you think that the contents being made my members isn't giving you what you need, getting some paid posting services and request specifically on the sections that you want contents to be created.

Also, you can take part in adding the kind of unique contents that you would want in your forum. Everything doesn't have to be left for your members to carry out.

I want to build my forum as a space for exclusive content but sadly this is not possible, people are talking about the same topics on multiple places.

I think it's difficult to create unique content when the same discussions can be had elsewhere. I think it's more about how the discussions happen within that topic that make it more unique and engaging. A topic about popcorn, for example, could start off as simply as "what's your favorite type of popcorn" across multiple boards, but if people are just talking about their favorite types of popcorn and not really engaging with each other and fostering discussion, it can get dull quick, especially if it's happening across multiple boards. There's so many communities these days that it can be difficult to be fully unique, but I think it's less about the topics themselves being unique and more about the conversations within and about those topics that are unique to that particular community.

I own a forum resources board, so I strive to have unique resources.

I like the idea of having unique "general" topics, but the internet is so repetitive that it's far and few between.

I try my best to add unique threads on my forums. Though it can be difficult since forums have been around for a while now and you might see the same threads on multiple places.

I do.

And it's easy to do it these days, too.

With AI, you can get plenty of ideas. I just recommend you write it in your own words to keep it aligned with your voice.

But most of all, create unique threads that cater to the pain points of the target audience in your forum's niche. That will be the best content on your forum.

Yeah, I try to build unique threads but it is not possible because user are walkabout same topics on multiple platforms.
