Possibly since if your forum has a lot of topics about credit cards, real estate, injury attorney, financial planning or Get rich quick posts in General Disscussions or money section of your forum the adsense click value will be higher compared to topics about "buying second hand goods".
But, I think if you purposely post a bunch of spammy topics to get more ads on high paying keywords un-related to your forum. You might lose a lot of members and visitors since it does not make much sense to post many topics on credit cards in a forum with an very unrelated category like wrestling.
