Blue screen of death or BSOD is a very common and frustrating issue almost every computer faces at one point of time. Reason behind this error is fault either in the hardware or software. Whenever blue screen encounters a system, it interrupts the ongoing work and sometimes leads to loss of important data. If you are dealing with this issue in your PC, you must be looking forward to know the ways that can help you stay at bay from facing it again and again.

How to fix BSOD?

Well, this is something every computer user needs to know. Besides hardware or software issue, other possible reason behind blue screen includes device errors, RAM error and overheating of the system. Anytime it happens, the ongoing work stops suddenly and the screen turns blue with white text all over it. It is interesting to know that you can avoid it by scanning you system and checking whether or not all the drivers are updated. These solutions are helpful in some cases. However, if you don’t find them useful in your situation, follow the below given steps:

1. Click the ‘start’ button.

2. In the search box, type ‘system restore’ and press enter.

3. In the list of search results, click ‘system restore’ from the system restore pop-up.

4. Check whether the ‘recommended restore’ button is checked or not. Check it if uncheck.

5. Click the ‘next’ button.

At times, BSOD happens due to memory management issues. If this is the reason behind your blue screen error, you can get the needed support through memory management diagnostic tool. Check out the step you need to perform:

1. Click the ‘start’ button.

2. In the search box, type ‘windows memory diagnostic tool’ or ‘memory’.

3. Click ‘windows memory diagnostic tool’ in the search results.

4. Now click ‘restart now and check for problems’.

5. Your PC will now restart.

6. Follow the instructions given on the screen.

These tips can help you keep this irritating error at bay and continue using your system without any interruption. However, if the problem happens again, go for technical services that are offered by the professionals. Computer techies are available 24/7 at a very affordable price. By identifying the real cause behind the fault, they will offer the best service in a friendly way.

The blue screen error was very common in Windows XP, but since I am using Windows 7 I haven't experienced any blue screen error. I think they have worked to remove that error and software crashing in the new improved Windows operating system.

The good old days of blue screens, Don't rarely get it for windows 10

Your lucky, due to Hyper-V and trying to run other things I get it every once and awhile.

Sucks when it's a driver issue (mostly on tablets and laptops).
