Wow this thread got out of hand. Ima watch some Happy Tree Friends with all my pals and eat some pink cotton candy.
Seriously, labeling dWhite as a white nationalist was uncalled for though. I'm sure a good amount of libertarians wouldn't agree to help out with the effort. You don't have to be a white nationalist to not want the government to give handouts. But thanks for the link, I'll sign up there as "Jamal" or "K'shawna" and put MLK as my avatar and see how long it takes for me to get banned.

I didn't use the method mentioned in the original post, but I did donate $25 (all I can afford at the moment) and have encourage members around my forum (over 720+) to both donate, and utilise the banners in their signatures
I have no job except for my hosting company, so I donated $10. Every bit helps.
But really, doesn't really matter if other countries don't help us back. We are setting an example for being the best country. USA will donate even if we hate the country. If Cuba was in a disaster, we would still help. This just shows how much our country does care.
Also, I do not want to have arguments here about how you hate how our country done and how much was donated. If you don't wish to donate, that is okay. Just please don't start any arguments.

True, however when Iran was struck with earthquakes in 2004(?), the USA and UK didn't have benefit concerts and everybody donating money to help out Iran.ChrisG2010 said:

(Almost) completely unrelated, North Korea has been in a famine for years now, and the United States has provided a minimal amount of aid, which was quickly denied by the DPRK. Maybe we should go back to the idea of Berlin Airlifts?
