I got a forbidden error when posting a new topic. 🙁

You don't have permission to access /phpBB3/posting.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Here is what the post contained:

Portal as Opening Page

My suggestion would be for the htaccess file to point to the new Portal instead of the Forum Index. This is just something to make the site look and feel nicer for experienced and new members. 😀

Any feedback and criticism is highly appreciated! 😀

I found out the problem. It does not allow me to place the '.' in front of 'htaccess'.

Yes that is a security measure i think as there are certain words like that it doesn't seem to like incase it could be dangerous or something. If you get something like that just change a few words in it that might be causing it like words like that and ftp it seems to be a bit dodgy about.
