Hello there! I'd love to do some post exchanges. This will be a long post but I take exchanges seriously, so I'd to tell you what I can bring to the table. My forum is mostly about entertainment, so if you're into any of that (anime/games/film/TV mostly) you're likely already eligible. Brownie points if you like games. Double brownie points if you like anime too. Check it out in my sig.
While an interest in entertainment is preferred, general discussion (casual discussions or those of a controversial nature have their own forums) is usually more popular. Sports discussion is usually avoided but technology is good.
I promise high-standard posts. I'll never post one-sentence replies (unless they're forum games which we can set rules for) and I expect the same of you. If I'm going to be a temporary or long-term member of your forum, I may as well enjoy my time there and won't see it as a chore.
With regard to post amounts, we have two options:
Short-Term Exchange
We can agree to a number between 6 and 29. This can be any number except multiples of 5. So, not 10, 15, 20 or 25. The reason I do this is because when I've done exchanges in the past, many new members with 5 or 10 posts (for example) looks a bit suspicious. Please offer one of those numbers as an equal ratio. Thread count can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, but I'm looking for at least two threads.
Long-Term Exchange
My forum is doing fairly well despite it not being a large community. One issue I face is that I've probably posted way too often. A long-term exchange can help add more of a community feeling by having more active users, so this is something I may agree to. If you're interested I'd like us to test the waters with a short-term exchange beforehand and go from there.
In terms of what type of content I can provide, well, I like most things. Obviously I excel most at entertainment discussion. I enjoy retro and modern games. I mostly like retro anime but some modern. I absolutely love to binge live action TV shows. Films are great! My favourite genres are probably horror and thriller but I'm open to most. I'm a tech junkie. I know about most gadgets. In addition to hardware I like talking about software. I can code a bit but I'm not super-proficient. My music knowledge is pretty bad so I'm probably not suitable for a music forum.
I can add to general discussion as I do it a lot on forums. Politics, sometimes but not a topic I'd say I'm good at. Religion, that's a no. I'd be more than happy to post on a religion forum if you just want me to write about other topics. Sports, I know next to nothing so keep that in mind.
By the way, I don't expect all of your posts to be in the entertainment sections. Feel free to make a lot of them general. One thing I forgot to mention is that I don't want us to exchange any more than five posts in a single day. Too many can look like a rush job. You may take your time if needed.
