facebook is being a pain in the....

Hi

i am not even sure if i am ''allowed'' to post this here but i need help and i don't know where else to ask and i am guessing somebody here might know a solution to this silly problem i am having ....

so the deal is... my facebook page.
usually stuff works fine but sometimes stuff on my fb page acts up and facebook won't allow me to do things or won't show certain things

right now the issue is....
when i want to share a link to the forum, which we do almost on a daily basis .. when we upload our own image that we use as big thumbnail image for the link (as we do not use the default social media icon)
normally we are able to select the one we uploaded and deselect the default social media icon i got set up in the admin panel....
and then we just share and everything is fine but now, since a couple days ago, facebook won't let us select our own uploaded thumbnail image any longer.... when we want to deselect the default one and select our own image, it won't let us and it auto selects the default icon....
and this is happening on two different computers, so not just mine
and we already tried this debug tool facebook has got going on or whatever it is but it has done nothing for me

it has been days ever since we were able to share stuff because of this freaking issue, freaking issue that is making us sad because we like to share stuff (and without sharing we won't get likes 😛 )

does anyone have an idea how to resolve this? we are bloody frustrated with this lol

(reason i am asking here and not on fb is because i would not even know how or where, i hardly use fb, i only use it to post on my page... but if people here got no clue and think i should be asking this elsewhere , please redirect me!)

I also once had experienced an error in posting with a caption. The error said that Facebook does not allow such caption. When I reworded the caption, it was posted. And when I posted that problem, some friends remarked that there are words and phrases that are prohibited in Facebook, maybe on the negative like pertaining to violence. With images, Facebook is now using face recognition that you cannot just make any picture your profile picture. Maybe that is related to your problem.

https://www.facebook.com/support/ Check here and see if it says anything. If your using a account without much posts and constantly posting links without much other activities sometimes Facebook flags it as suspicious which maybe a possibility.

i doubt thats the case because my friend posts a lot on her personal acc and she has the same problem

That's also the way to get support from the actual Facebook team.
