Well you can change language easily as provided in the knowledgebase and not all of them are russian. Most are english & region free

So if I wanted to buy BF3 how would I use the CD key via origin?

You just activate it using origin but change the language by downloading english language pack (provided) and placing htem in the folder and running a quick automatic software to change the registry so it runs the game in english.
