FFS my sites been hacked

I had an argument with someone on my forum and they hacked it, i think i have everything backed up but not sure what to do next

Can someone help?

Well, use your backup, IP ban those hackers, and start over with new passwords?

Do you know how they "hacked" you? If so then you can stop them doing the same again. If not then you should look into how they done it otherwise as soon as you get yoursite up again, they could do the exact same thing again.

Yeah i know who hacked me it was someone called Tayne and a friend of his, but i have blocked their IP's now and will ban their users ect.

I will change all passwords but its the first time I have been hacked and I don't want to miss anything.

I don't seem the point in hacking as what do they benefit from it?

This has really annoyed me at how quickly he managed to do it aswell

Why did he hack you? He looks angry at you for something.

He could have stole your password from another forum you are a member of, you should never re-use passwords.

I told him that he couldn't be admin because of his track record and he didn't like it, then i get an e-mail saying hahaha.

There is nothing more you can really do at this point, get your forum back up and running and hope he does not come back. Reporting/Blocking his IP would most likely be useless, If he knows how to hack he will know what a proxy is.

Change your password using: http://strongpasswordgenerator.com/

Use 30 chars and include symbols.

Never re-use your password, especially on your hosting and forum admin accounts.

Yes of course, that does not mean they will catch/arrest him though. The chances are he is using a proxy.

The two who have hacked you are Oliver & Tayne. Oliver is known for the page you see, GeneralOJB. They tend to do this when you annoy one or both, or they can be asked to in some cases. I would upload your backup and change your password and continue as normal.

Sorry to hear this happened to you. I really enjoy UA and I enjoy posting there. I actually sent out an urgent PM on CT to have members change their passwords pronto as once again we have sites getting hacked left, right and center. Hope all gets resolved soon.

Ugh again. Hackers need to learn the hard way. When hackers hack sites, it doesn't show they have skill at all. It just shows to the world that they don't know how to resolve problems either because they have some kind of mental illness or because their parents have mental illness.
