Since the xbox dashboard update 2.0.13599.0 was released about a month or two ago.
I have not been able to find a code to factory reset my xbox 360 slim to default.
Normally you'd go to CONSOLE SETTINGS and click on SYSTEM INFO.
Then enter something along the lines of LT, RT, X, Y, LB, RB followed by a few other keys.
It would then pop up with a message box asking if you want to factory reset to default.
However, since the dashboard update 2.0.13599.0, I have tried and tried and tried.
I just could not find a key combination that worked.
However, I have literally just made a breakthrough.
I got so fed up I started typing in random characters.
Try this combination: LT, RT, X, Y, LB, RB, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN
I found a tutorial online which told me to put FOUR downs in.
But four downs didn't work for me. However, five downs works for me.
Anyway try this combination if you wish to attempt a factory restore. 😉
