FireFox vs Opera

Anyways, Opera is an alright browser, Ive used it as my default for an extended period of time before to get a feel for it, but it doesnt live up to the magnificent wonder that is FireFox. -🙂-

I've never tried Opera. I've heard some really good things about it, but I've just been a firefox user for so long. I guess I'm too lazy to care at the moment.

Maybe one day I'll give it a try when I'm not working on my forum.

It usually only takes the install and first 24 hours of trying before you switch. Just like they say with smoking, the first 24 hours are the hardest.

Ooo, I like the way Opera looks. Not everything is in your way so you can see more screen. And I love all of the skins.

Scrolls smoothly and such.

Opera runs faster on my computer... so I use it I've tried lots of different ones but opera loads up the fastest for me. So I use it... 😛

I also think it looks nicer then the others...

I have gotten used to firefox but I could switch to opera without much of a problem. I'm basically just staying away from IE

The thing I like best with firefox is the english dictionary.

I used to love Mozilla, but Opera is better. Internet Explorer is absolutely terrible.

Its actually not "basic" at all, having many more features than IE does, and the same amount of built in features as fire fox. It has a built in email handler (which I use to perfection), a feed manager (I also use this to perfection), IRC client, even a (some what crappy) BitTorrent downloader.

Skins are awesome as well, no need to restart the browser to change them.

I have never used Opera, I have used FF however many times, and I definitely recommend it to people. It's a very stable browser that performs very well.

However, I use Safari, and no I don't use a Mac. Recently they made a Safari version for Windows, and me being an Apple fan, I downloaded that puppy quick. It's not as stable as FF, but the template is amazing. Definitely the nicest looking browser I've ever seen.

I do my general browsing in Opera with Firefox as my backup. I've found Opera to just be my favorite to use. I don't know why, maybe because it seems to be so simple.

I went through a little stage using Opera a couple of weeks ago, it was alright but I still prefer FireFox.
