What do you offer that Digitalpoint doesn't? Why should we sell on your forum? What protection do you offer? How do you ensure forums/databases sold aren't mass sold, fraudulent, illegal and or not owned?

I want answers, if you answer, I've got about 2/3 forums to sell.

What do you offer that Digitalpoint doesn't? Why should we sell on your forum? What protection do you offer? How do you ensure forums/databases sold aren't mass sold, fraudulent, illegal and or not owned?

I want answers, if you answer, I've got about 2/3 forums to sell.

Certified Sellers (not sure if they have), it is a group of members who have had nearly 100% positive feedback, and are generally good standing in the community. They are not added every day, it is a special group that no one can apply for.

We don't offer protection, payment goes through your option (IE Paypal) and the transaction is gone from there. We do ban members on the spot who have been caught scamming with proof. The Certified Sellers group lets you know the best people to sell to, but as for that, the deal is yours after the payment leaves our site.

Have not thought about the last bit, however I will look into implementing a feature later on to watch for that. As for now, staff will just check topics, the best way we know for now. (Proof of license will be required for selling licenses on our forum).

I don't expect a huge audience from FP because of the nature of the forum, but we are looking for people who are mainly for buying and selling.

Also note the community will be kept clean to make it safe and easier to sell with our rules in place and the suspension periods.

Just to help out, as Jay said, it is spelled wrong on your forum-market.com banner (the one you have in your signature).

I really love the idea of a certified seller group.

I also have another suggestion.

I think you should add another sub-forum for buying/selling other things besides forums, such as domains. That would make me join for sure, as I don't really sell forums but I do sell domains. 🙂.

Right now, They are pretty much open to selling anything. You could post in them to sell or buy a domain. If it because popular we will add subforums 🙂
