People will join and leave, regardless of whether or not they knew something like this was going on. That is not the issue you are referring to.
The issue you are referring to, is knowing who the winners are. As you know, it STATES in the original post, that the winners will be notified 24 hours after this is over. BUT, it doesn't state when the winners will be announced. Why does it not state that? because as you well know, if you are busy, or if you know you may be busy when you do something like this, if you state that you agree to post the winners at any specific time or date, that inadvertently, you will find out that it will be hard to keep that commitment, unless you know for sure that you will be able to have the time to do such.
By arguing that you deserve to know the winners immediately, and not letting the person that is running it the common courtesy of being busy, because like it or not, Nerdie has a job, and might not be able to do such, you are then making it look like Nerdie is purposely going out of his way to not make a post announcing those who got various rewards.
I would go into future detail about the psychology that you are using in relation to this, but since we do NOT know what is happening, one cannot assume that the reason why nothing has been posted is the actual reason.
Remember, we all have a life, and by expecting results NOW, instead of when the contest starter has time to do such, will show how much one is really not willing to be patient with what is going on.
