A few forums have their own set of rules but these are the main ones set up and can be found in the Site Information & News Forum..
From our Rules & Regulations thread:
Here are just a few things I'd like to let you know about in order to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible.
.: New Registrations :.
All new accounts registered are given three (3) days to become active before the member has their account revoked and deleted. If you wish not to have your account deleted, make one post prior to the week being up and your account is safe (for the time being).
.: Account Inactivity :.
Once a period of thirty (30) days have passed since your last visit date, your account will be placed into an inactive usergroup. If at anytime between 30-60 days you decided to return, your account will have it’s original access reinstated. If after 60 (60) days you have not returned to the site your account will be revoked and deleted off the board. We figure that if you wanted to be here, you'd make more of an effort.
.: Duplicate Accounts :.
The only members that may have duplicate accounts are the Administrators. Any user found to have more than one account will have the accounts merged together into their original account.
.: Specialty Forums :.
At JS we have two specialty forums - GQ Males & Playboy Bunnies. The GQ Males forum are for the males, and Playboy Bunnies are for the females. If you do not receive access to this forum, please contact an Administrator and you will have your access granted.
.: Adult Section :.
The 18+ Adult section is not a right, but a privilege. Not all users will be granted access to this section and anyone's access can be revoked at any time at the Administrators discretion. If you are 18+ and are known to the Administrators, your access will already be granted. If you are unknown to the Administrators, you must contact one and state that you would like access. Some users may need to have a set amount of posts under their belt prior to being allowed entrance as we don't tolerate those that just sign up for the nudes.
.: Drama & Fighting :.
If you have a problem with another member on JS, do not air your differences on the board - take it to PM or off-site. We would like to keep the drama down to a bare minimum so that the environment here can be as pleasant as possible. No one wants to stick around when all they see is bickering and insults flying around.
.: Spamming/Advertising :.
We don't tolerate spammers on this board. If someone joins just to do so, their account will be revoked and dealt with accordingly. If you wish to advertise your own site, feel free to do so in your signature with a link or in the Promote A Site forum.
If you have any questions or problems relating to the above mentioned, please feel free to contact an Administrator or Super Moderator (the users colored in green)
Thank you and I hope you enjoy your time here at JS.
Js.
And from our Flaming & Bashing thread:
We invite and encourage a healthy exchange of opinions; disagreements are okay. If you disagree with a member's post or opinion, by all means, challenge the opinion. However, any challenge must be given with a sense of respect for the other person.
The real objective of community is to understand each other, not to attack others and convince them that you're right. Name-calling, insults, "flaming" and attacks are not appropriate and will not be tolerated.
I have simple rules on my forum 🙂 There are some areas that have additional rules as well. I also have a privacy policy which in my opinion, every forum should have 😉
I actually have a problem doing these when I am writing them. I know it says show yours. But when I opened my most recent board (which didn't work) I completely forgot to do general rules and the like.
I need to make mine still, but when I make my rules I make them reasonable and not to long. Because if they are to long people wont take the time to read them... If they are to short they might get away with stuff..
But I will use basic common rules like:
No Porn
No Harez
etc...
