I don't want any 'cool forum' or 'nice banner' comments. I really want to get down and dirty with this. What do you really hate about ForuMansion.com? What makes the forum look less attractive? If you are an active member on that board, what do you dislike about the theme, the design, the generalities, the staff, or just the forum in basic terms? I'm striving to keep the forum up and running the way the majority of the members want it to run; so give me your opinions please. I'm not looking for any comments, just suggestions.

Well I posted a bit on your site reviewing other peoples' so I figured I may as well write something about yours.
First and foremost I definitely like where your visual style is headed overall, but there are some big problems with it as it is. The category headers and buttons are very large, making it feel very bulky in a lot of places, and the height of the banner doesn't help that much.
If you cut back on that (and the height of the main navigation buttons) it will make the site much easier to use I think, though you may want to more carefully consider ad placement, as it throws the forum a bit off balance. Also, the sidebar has some similar large image issues to the rest of the site. Just thought you may like the feedback, and I hope that helps some. 🙂

That definitely does help! Thank you a lot. Now I really know that the height of the forum is a big issue. I will have to come up with a better banner and try to find a way to reduce the ads on the widgets. Thank you very much for the feedback!
It's not the number of forums being the biggest problem. The header is huge, and when I first look at the page without scrolling I seen no content; just a banner, navigation menu, and ads. Also, the image with "forumansion reviews" on it is fairly large and disinterests me even more. Also, when scrolling to the bottom, the Who is Online section is giant.Rokalyptica said:
