Appearance and Style - (Out of 20)

I really like your blog's design. It's very attractive. I think the design fits your blog very well, actually. You chose a great style for your blog, it has such a professional clean feeling about it. It's a nice and simple style; that means quick page-loading, which is great for those people with slow internet connections. I really like your blog's logo. It's professional, but it also has that fun feeling to it. I especially like the "R" symbol on it, that looks really original and unique. I don't think I have seen that anywhere else before. That leads up to the favicon, which matches the "R" symbol; it's good that you have consistency throughout your blog's design. Your blog's overall appearance is excellent. One thing I noticed was your slogan on the logo, "download free forum ranks." I think you could do much better with the slogan. I know it's unimportant, but a catchy slogan would be fantastic. Although, with your blog's appearance looked over, I must say what McDonald's says best... "I'm lovin' it."

Blog Layout and Categorization - (Out of 20)

Your blog has a nice layout setup. Everything seems to be in its place. One thing I did notice is that it doesn't show you the amount of comments on a blog post until you are actually viewing the blog post. Comments may be a bit unimportant since your blog is much more like a database, but I think it would still be better organization if you were to have a simple way to see the amount of comments before you click on a blog post. Next, we have your blog's categorization. To be honest, I am not sure about your blog's categorization. I didn't really see any categories. I did notice that you have a way to see the most viewed, newest, and premium rank sets. That should be pretty good categorization, you have a search box as plain as day at the top of the blog, I don't think categorization is necessary considering the type of blog your blog is. Overall, your blog has a nice layout and the categorization is simple as well.

esnt3o.webp Commenting Activity and Other Interactions - (Out of 20)
There appears to be a lot of comments being made. Looking at most of your blog posts, I see a couple comments for the majority of your blog posts. Because of this, you can sort of tell that your blog has followers, which is obviously great. Most blog posts are, "Nice ranks," or "Thanks," which someone might say they are worthless blog posts, but they really aren't. It's not constructive feedback really, but I am sure it is good motivation for you to continue making new blog posts. When it comes to other interactions, at first I thought there was a lack of interactions between people browsing your blog, but you have a shoutbox, so if any other interactions need to occur, there is a place for it to occur. Overall, great work on getting those comments in!

2nrlyjk.webp Quality and Frequency of Posts - (Out of 20)
Well, this is sort of inapplicable considering your blog is much more of a database compared to the type of blog this review template is used for, so I will try my best to adapt to reviewing this type of blog. The quality of the rank sets in your blog posts are great. You have excellent ranks all-over your blog. One thing I do notice is the lack of content on your blog posts though. I think you should have a short paragraph (description) of each rank set. In the description, you could say what forum genre would fit best for the rank set, etc. For example, you could say that the "Toxic Ranks" set would be great for a gaming forum specifically based on the Xbox. One thing that isn't very pleasing is your lack of consistency when it comes to making new blog posts. I think you should try your best to post a couple rank sets a week; this would be great to keep the blog followers interested. One thing I really think is a bit unacceptable is the fact that you went for about four months (February-June) without posting a single new blog post. You should probably work on that.

Spelling/Grammar - (Out of 20)

For the most part, your blog has great spelling and grammar, there is a few things that I noticed though. First off, I noticed one thing that didn't really make sense to me, on the "About" page. In the first sentence, it says ForumRanks.net is a new resource, it's not really a new resource anymore. As you surely know, your blog's one year anniversary is coming up next month, so the word "new" isn't a very good adjective to use in this case. Secondly, on the "Terms of use" page, you forgot a period on the first term. Thirdly, on the third term on that same page, you say "no," I think you meant for it to say "not." I guess that is just a typo. Fourthly, regarding the final term, throughout all this time your blog has been open, I have seen your ranks on many forums. From what I have seen, very few people have given credit to the author for ranks they used. I am not saying they claimed anything as theirs, but they really just wouldn't say anything about the author of the ranks for the most part. Fifthly, on the very last sentence of that same page, there needs to be a period right in between "friends" and the smiley. Now, on to your "Advertise" page. On the first two points, "advertisement" is at the end of both sentences. In both cases, I think it should be "advertisements." On the third point, I think "advertisement" also needs to be changed to plural form and "is" needs to be changed to "are." On the final point, I think you need to add the word "at" between "it" and "any." In the bold last sentence, I think "from" needs to be "up to." To wrap this up, I will finish off with a couple things I noticed on the "Faqs" page. On the second answer, it says all ranks are free, which isn't the case anymore. You have to pay for some ranks. Finally, on the answer right before the last one, you need "at" between "link" and "your." Overall, spelling and grammar isn't too bad; improvements should really be made.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to read my blog?

I already am, I have been a big follower of your blog since September I think. I love to browse around, and look at all the high-quality ranks. I have even used one of the ranks sets before; I used a promotion forum rank set on one of my old forums.

Thanks for the review, but got couple of corrections to make in your reasoning:

1. Some people did suggest to add text to describe the ranks and write what was my inspiration for them what are the ranks good for which forum and etc... Honest truth, is no one reads them and most of the ranks I had no inspiration and they are good for all forums. So if you think about it what you said in review then 95% of the ranks text would say "Made these ranks when I was splaying around with photoshop and are good for any forum". Doubt anyone wants to see that extra garbage text under each rank when all people care about is the preview image and download button.

2. I cannot control what people write on other forums and who they give credit to. All i do is make sure the author gets credit on my site.

Thanks for the review anyway....
