I can't tell you how many events I did not participate in over the years while I was on staff, because I felt like I would cause the intended goal of the contests to not be achieved. Not like I didn't want to participate in stuff, just that it seemed weird to be a staff member participating in events that were supposed to engage the regular membership.

Not sure who submitted the thing about staff participating, but I do agree with the thought for the most part. Not that I think staff shouldn't participate in everything, just that some things should be geared to try to incentivize those who aren't being awarded already.

Kinda like the posting packages, post package members do get awarded for posting, whether they agree to FP$ or a paypal transfer upon cashout. Wouldn't make sense to do a posting contest with monetary rewards and let package team members participate, when they are already being paid to post anyways.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the survey, there is some really useful insights come out of this!

As staff myself I usually only participate to have some fun and generate a bit of competition and don’t actually want the ‘prize’/win at the end and donate it if I do win, but it’s certainly something for us to look into going forward!
